City Officials Tour Tennis Center

April 3, 2008   Uptown Roeding Supervisor, Pete Rocco, and on-site Supervisor, Lawrence Mathews, toured through the tennis players at Roeding Park on a beautiful Thursday morning.  The two city officials were escorted by tennis court maintenance chief, Bruce Mitchell, and RPTC representative, John Gruberg.  The tennis players met the two men graciously with extended handshakes and thanked them for the excellent upkeep of the tennis courts.  In turn, the City men were struck by how friendly the tennis players were.  It was time well spent for all parties on that sunny morning at the Tennis Center.
